|Michael Eck Art Gallery|
In the early 2000s, using recycled, donated and found materials, Michael spent a considerable amount of time painting raw portraits of American folk, blues and jazz musicians. His work has shown alongside the likes of R. Crumb and Howard Finster and is in the collection of noted blues art aficionado Joel Eagle. For a time Michael was represented by Kelly Gingras at The Outsiders Art, in Cornwall Bridge CT. Michael also participated in many solo and group shows nationally and regionally, including Lisle Station Museum, IL; Interact Center/Inside Out Gallery, MN; Synagogue for the Arts, NYC; Fairleigh Dickinson University, NJ; The Arts Center of the Capital Region, NY; Firlefanz Gallery, NY.
Michael is not currently accepting commissions, but you might twist his arm.
